Spectacular six-day Horseback riding in El Morado In the Northern Patagonia of Argentina, Estancia Ñorquín El Morado, with its 20,000 hectares offers innumerable places to visit, all of which have marvellous views.
On average we ride for three hours in the morning, and another three in the afternoon, visiting different points of interest each day. The main attractions are the waterfall on the Agrio River, the "Laguna del Cuero" and the hot springs situated at 2.000 metres above sea-level.
We have excellent horses, tack and tents in order to enjoy each moment of the trek.
The guides are bi-lingual.
Appropriate dates are in the Argentine summer (January – April)
SATURDAY: Arrival at Hotel Nevado in Cavihue. If you arrive around midday, there are several activity options which will be coordinated by the hotel staff. In the evening there will be a welcoming dinner.
SUNDAY: Breakfast and transport to Estancia Ñorquin. The horseback trek begins at 10 am. Lunch in Tratalen, and finally, camping in El Manzano.
MONDAY: We will trek to visit the Agrio waterfall, and spend the day there and then we return to Manzano to spend the night there.
TUESDAY: A visit to the hot springs. We will have lunch in Arroyo Blanco, and camp at the springs.
WEDNESDAY: We will ride to Laguna del Cuero and spend the day there, finally returning to spend the night at the springs.
THURSDAY: An excursion to Maloñehue, with lunch beside a stream on the way. We will make camp for the night in Maloñehue..
FRIDAY: A free morning, and after lunch in Maloñehue, return to Ñorquin. Here the horseback trek finishes and we will return to the Hotel Nevado, where we will have a farewell dinner.
SATURDAY: Breakfast and check out.
